Many of our customers have told us how much they enjoy the thought of buying products that are sewn by hand and how many of those skills are not being taught today. We have bravely decided to start running courses for both adults and children to pass on some of these traditions. We won't tell you everything, as that would put us out of business ! but the two courses below should teach many of the basics as well as being an enjoyable day for everyone.

Make do and Mend

Come and learn useful sewing skills,from sewing on a button to simple repairs and alterations. For absolute beginners to those needing a little guidance.

Held in a purpose built studio in Etchingham, East Sussex.

Minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 per session. Get a group together yourself or come along on your own and meet new friends.
